Mr. Kotz has over 18 years experience in private equity, investment banking and the futures industry.   He was most recently a Principal at Gridiron Capital, LLC, a private equity fund in New Canaan, Connecticut, where he worked for five years.  Prior to Gridiron, Mr. Kotz was at Altus Capital Partners, LLC, a private equity fund, where he was based in Lincolnshire, Illinois.  His career also includes having worked at Resource Financial Corporation, an investment bank, and at Iowa Commodities, Ltd. 

Mr. Kotz received an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelors Degree from Boston College, Carroll School of Management.  Mr. Kotz has also served as president and board member of the Chicago Private Equity Network (CPEN).
